Who is the Babka Queen?

It all started with my strong affinity for baked goods; baking the goods, and delighting in the knowledge that others were enjoying my creations. The fateful day that I decided to try baking a babka was the day that the Babka Queen began her awakening. The babka: the apex of the appetizing, the pinnacle of pastries, the royalty of rolled dough. I could not believe the deep and mystifying richness of the thing.

As I sat contemplating the babka, I heard a voice deep within my brain, at first slight, then louder: "People must know," she insisted. And yes, I agree: PEOPLE MUST KNOW. Thus, with the opening of babkashop, came the tangible manifestation of the Babka Queen. People must know, and we must complete our mission: Bringing Babka to Seattle. No doubt with a strong leader such as the Babka Queen, our mission can be accomplished.
